Work Environment

Located in the heart of Lehigh Acres, our outpatient office serves a diverse community eager for high-quality rehabilitative services. As part of a dynamic team, you will engage in scheduled appointments Monday through Friday, offering a standard 40-hour workweek. Our clinic fosters a culture of continuous learning and collaboration, ensuring that each clinician has the tools and support necessary to deliver top-notch care within a welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients referred by physicians to develop customized treatment plans that prioritize their unique needs and goals.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic modalities and techniques to enhance function and mobility, including manual therapy and strengthening exercises.
• Document patient progress and adjustments to treatment protocols using our electronic health record system, ensuring compliance with best practices and legal requirements.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding their treatment plans, self-management techniques, and recovery strategies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and integrate various perspectives into care strategies.
• Monitor and maintain proper utilization goals and other clinic performance metrics to contribute positively to operational success.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily focus on orthopedic patients, but you will also have the opportunity to work with individuals recovering from sports injuries, neurological conditions, and pediatric needs. Our diverse client base requires the ability to adapt treatment approaches based on an array of cases, including post-surgical rehabilitation, condition management, and performance enhancement.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited program is required.
• Possession of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal, allowing for clear and effective patient interactions.
• Computer skills, including familiarity with electronic documentation and word processing tools.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with patients and their families to motivate them toward achieving functional goals.
• A strong enthusiasm for community involvement and the ability to act as a relatable resource for patients.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, in addition to a robust benefits package.
