Work Environment

Located conveniently in Lehigh Acres, our outpatient clinic features a collaborative and supportive work culture. As a Physical Therapist, you will work closely with a team of experienced healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and sports trainers. Your workspace will be onsite, allowing for direct interaction with patients and immediate access to the facilities and equipment necessary for providing a comprehensive therapy program. The typical work schedule is from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, offering a balanced lifestyle while fulfilling an essential role in patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized physical therapy care to patients, focusing on their specific rehabilitation goals.
• Assess patients' physical conditions and develop comprehensive, tailored treatment plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic modalities.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic care to deliver high-quality rehabilitation services backed by clinical evidence.
• Manage a caseload effectively, ensuring that each patient receives adequate time and attention during their treatment sessions.
• Implement innovative fitness and wellness programs aimed at improving strength, flexibility, coordination, and overall physical health.
• Utilize cost-effective physical therapy strategies that emphasize non-surgical and non-pharmacological treatments.
• Document patient progress meticulously using EMR software, particularly WebPT, to ensure smooth communication and continuity of care.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout the rehabilitation process, promoting adherence to treatment protocols to enhance outcomes.
• Continuously evaluate the effects of treatment, adjusting care plans as needed to align with patients' evolving needs.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare providers to ensure multidisciplinary approaches to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with an outpatient population consisting of individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, sports-related impairments, and post-operative rehabilitation. The clinic attracts a diverse range of patients, from athletes seeking to return to their sport to adults focused on improving their quality of life through rehabilitation. Your role will be integral in helping these patients meet their mobility and recovery goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required, and preference will be given to candidates who have completed a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program.
• Possession of an active Physical Therapist license in the State of Florida is essential.
• No history of sanctions or board proceedings regarding your professional license.
• Mastery of various manual therapy techniques and exercise modalities.
• Expertise in designing successful therapeutic exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Proficiency in utilizing EMR software, particularly WebPT, for effective patient documentation.
• Thorough knowledge of current physical therapy techniques that are supported by clinical research.

Preferred Experience

• Hands-on experience working in outpatient orthopedic settings is highly desirable.
• Previous involvement in sports rehabilitation or working with athletic populations is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
