Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions via telehealth platforms. Typical work hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional adjustments based on patient availability.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the specific needs of each patient, leading to the development of individualized treatment plans that reflect their unique circumstances.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, to address a variety of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance use issues.

• Facilitate psychoeducational groups and support sessions that build community and provide clients with tools to manage their mental health effectively.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and fellow therapists to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care for patients, particularly during transitions in treatment.

• Provide crisis intervention services, offering immediate support during mental health emergencies, with a focus on stabilizing the individual and connecting them to necessary resources.

• Educate patients on mental health disorders, coping strategies, and available community resources to empower them in their recovery journey.
\n
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with applicable laws and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient management.

• Engage in regular team meetings and case consultations, contributing to collaborative problem-solving and professional development discussions.

• Stay informed about advancements in mental health therapy through continuous education and research to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• Strong understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatments, and interventions tailored to diverse populations.

• Proven experience in conducting mental health assessments and formulating effective treatment plans.

Preferred Experience\n

While two years of relevant experience is required, candidates with additional experience in crisis intervention or group therapy facilitation will be given preference. Experience working with the specific populations or presenting issues prevalent in our community is also advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
