Work Environment\n

As a remote position, this role allows for flexibility while maintaining a consistent work schedule to suit the needs of the school environment. You will typically work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with the possibility of occasional evening or weekend hours based on client needs. Being part of a supportive team, you will collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to mental health support.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' psychosocial needs, taking into account their emotional, mental, and social circumstances.

• Develop personalized care plans for each client in collaboration with students and their families, focusing on their specific goals and needs.

• Provide individual counseling and emotional support, assisting students in navigating academic and life transitions.

• Advocate for students’ rights and access to necessary community resources, ensuring they receive appropriate support services.

• Regularly monitor student well-being through virtual visits, evaluating their emotional and environmental situations to address any concerns.

• Facilitate effective communication and conflict resolution among families involved in students' care, encouraging holistic support systems.

• Educate clients and families about available resources, support groups, and programs that enhance social engagement and overall quality of life.

• Maintain accurate and current documentation of client assessments, care plans, progress notes, and communication records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with ethical standards.

• Stay updated on best practices in social work, mental health trends, and policies to ensure service excellence.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
