Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments by evaluating clients' emotional and psychological states, always considering their medical conditions that may affect their mental health.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans that holistically address both psychiatric and medical concerns, ensuring coordinated care and optimal outcomes for clients.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) tailored to meet each client’s unique circumstances.

• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure an integrated approach to treatment, enabling seamless communication and support across disciplines.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for clients experiencing urgent mental health challenges.

• Educate clients on the interplay between mental health and physical conditions, empowering them with strategies to manage their overall wellbeing.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards while using our electronic health record system.

• Engage actively in team meetings, case reviews, and collaborative care planning to ensure quality and continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will support a diverse client population, primarily those experiencing co-occurring medical conditions such as autoimmune disorders, chronic pain, and substance use disorders. Your work will be instrumental in helping clients navigate the complexities of their mental health alongside their physical health needs, facilitating improved overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid and current licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.
\n
• Proven experience working with individuals dealing with co-occurring mental health and medical conditions.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a strong emphasis on empathy and communication.

• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical boundaries, along with the ability to foster a supportive therapeutic environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 - 120,000, commensurate with experience.
