Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments for students encountering emotional or behavioral difficulties, utilizing standardized tools as well as observational data.

• Design tailored treatment plans that address the unique needs of each student, employing evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, fostering a safe and supportive environment for students to share their experiences and learn coping skills.

• Maintain meticulous clinical records compliant with state and federal regulations, ensuring timely documentation of patient progress and treatment modifications.

• Coordinate care with educators, families, and community resources, advocating for students' needs and accessing additional supports as necessary.

• Engage in continuous professional development to stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your patient population will primarily consist of school-aged children and adolescents facing a spectrum of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral challenges, and social difficulties. You will provide not only therapeutic support but also psychoeducation and parenting guidance tailored to the needs of families. Your work will directly impact students' overall academic performance, social development, and emotional resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid LCSW license in the state of New York.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 60,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
