Position Overview

Advent Care Physical Therapy is seeking dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapists to join our dynamic team at our Stafford, Virginia rehabilitation facility. As a full-time Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in evaluating, planning, and implementing personalized treatment programs for our diverse patient population, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care. This position offers an annual salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000, along with comprehensive benefits.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, determining individual needs and setting specific, measurable goals for treatment.
• Develop, implement, and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing assessment and patient progress, utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Engage with a variety of patient specialties, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine, tailoring treatment methods to each demographic.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, fostering a positive experience for patients while facilitating consultations, training, and education for patients and their caregivers.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to collectively enhance patient outcomes, contributing your insights in team meetings and case discussions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and meet minimum utilization goals, while adhering to the physician's plan of care for each patient.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients encompass a broad demographic, including children with developmental disabilities, athletes recovering from injuries, adults facing mobility challenges, and seniors requiring rehabilitation post-surgery. Each therapist at Advent Care is trained to provide specialized care and adapt treatment methods according to the individual needs and circumstances of our diverse clientele.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from a recognized program (APTA or CAPTE-accredited).
• State License in Physical Therapy issued by the appropriate licensing authority.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association, ensuring readiness for emergency situations.
• Proficiency in written and verbal communication, enabling clear interactions with patients and colleagues.
• Strong computer skills, including familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation.
• Ability to establish and maintain rapport with patients, encouraging positive outcomes and adherence to treatment plans.

Preferred Experience

• Two (2) years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist, ideally in a rehabilitation or outpatient setting.
• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience with specialized modalities and therapeutic techniques relevant to various physical therapy disciplines.
• Current CPR certification ensuring compliance with safety standards.
