Looking for a rewarding role supporting students in middle school classrooms? Dedicated paraprofessionals are needed for contract positions, contributing to the academic and personal growth of learners in a vibrant educational setting. Multiple openings are available, with placements at various middle schools in the area—let us know your preferred location when submitting your interest.
Essential Qualifications:
- Must be considered “highly qualified” by:• Passing the MN Board Highly Qualified Para Exam (Para Educator Exam), or• Completing at least 60 college credits (official college transcripts required)
- Strong communication skills and an enthusiastic, patient approach to working with middle school students
- Comfortable providing hands-on assistance, including toileting support as needed
- Organized, reliable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Candidates must provide a current resume and required qualifying documentation (para exam results or college transcripts) to be considered
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in the classroom, providing instructional and behavioral support to students
- Foster positive and inclusive learning environments
- Support students with varying needs, ensuring safety and dignity in all interactions
- Carry out daily routines, including assistance with activities of daily living and personal care where needed
- Collaborate closely with educational teams and participate in ongoing communication with staff
What You’ll Enjoy:
