Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health concerns, utilizing evidence-based tools and methodologies.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessments, with specific goals and measurable outcomes to continuously monitor client progress.
• Provide direct therapy services, including individual, family, and group therapy, employing techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and family systems therapy.
• Implement crisis intervention strategies when necessary, performing risk assessments and creating personalized safety plans.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and nurses, to ensure a holistic approach to client care, maximizing the impact of therapeutic interventions.
• Advocate for clients’ rights and connect them to community resources, effectively providing case management support.
• Engage in community outreach activities, promoting mental health awareness and building partnerships that can extend our reach into underserved areas.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse population of children and adolescents, along with their families, facing various mental health challenges. This includes providing support for issues such as anxiety, depression, behavior disorders, and trauma. Your role will be critical in fostering resilience and coping strategies, enabling clients to thrive both academically and personally.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW).
• Strong understanding of cultural competence and the ability to connect with clients from various backgrounds.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong emphasis on empathy and active listening.

Preferred Experience

While we welcome applications from all qualified professionals, experience in a community mental health or school setting is preferred. Familiarity with evidence-based practices and a strong foundation in therapeutic techniques such as CBT will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
