Key Responsibilities\n

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Creating and implementing individualized treatment plans based on thorough client assessments, which may involve integrating various therapeutic techniques and tools such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Leading engaging and effective therapy sessions tailored for individuals, couples, families, and groups, while addressing a broad range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and trauma-related disorders.

• Collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical staff, to ensure comprehensive, client-centered care.

• Maintaining thorough and accurate documentation of client progress and treatment strategies in compliance with state legal standards and organizational policies.

• Participating in ongoing professional development by attending workshops and training sessions to stay current with advancements in mental health practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will involve working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults experiencing various mental health conditions. Qualifications\n

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• An active New York State license as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A minimum of two years of experience providing counseling services in a clinical setting, demonstrating the ability to navigate complex client situations with empathy and expertise.
