About the Position

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical Neuro – North Carolina

Start Date: November 2, 2026

Location: Wilmington, North Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM. 36 or 48 hours per week accepted. Every other weekend required. Floating required. Must be available to work holidays. Contract lengths through February 27, 2027 accepted.

Requirements:

• Active RN license (North Carolina or Compact state license)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Neuro experience required
• Experience with telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Proficiency in IV starts and maintenance, peripheral line care, and non-invasive airway management
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start date
• Willingness to participate in storm/hurricane team assignments and emergency response protocols
