Key Responsibilities As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include: Conducting comprehensive biopsychosocial history interviews to gain an in-depth understanding of each client’s background and mental health needs. Collaborating with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that address their specific challenges and promote their wellbeing. Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing modalities that may include cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness practices, trauma-informed care, and more. Documenting client interactions through the timely completion of intake reports, progress notes, and treatment summaries using established Electronic Health Records systems. Qualifications To be considered for this role, candidates must possess: A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related field. An active Washington State License as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). A minimum of three to four years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, demonstrating competency in therapy techniques and patient interaction. Residing in Washington State to comply with local regulations and client accessibility. Expertise in implementing evidence-based practices in therapeutic settings. Strong documentation skills, with the ability to write clear and comprehensive clinical notes. Excellent time management and organizational skills to effectively handle a varied caseload.
