Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform thorough psychosocial assessments to identify patient needs, concerns, and strengths that inform the creation of individualized treatment plans.

• Diagnose and treat various mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders, modifying care plans as necessary to reflect patients' changing conditions and responses to treatment.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including healthcare providers, family members, and community resources, to foster a holistic approach to patient care.

• Provide individual and family therapy sessions, employing evidence-based methodologies to promote effective coping strategies and emotional resilience.

• Identify and refer patients to community resources, support groups, or other health services that could facilitate their journey towards improved mental health.

• Maintain compliance with all relevant legal, ethical, state, and federal regulations, including adherence to the Mental Health Practice Act.

• Document all interactions and maintain accurate records of patient progress in accordance with established protocols, ensuring HIPAA compliance.

• Act as an advocate for patients and their families, facilitating clear communication and understanding among all stakeholders involved in the care process.

• Evaluate patient discharge needs and develop comprehensive discharge plans in collaboration with the care team, taking into account any potential barriers to follow-up care.

• Conduct social work consultations for patients and caregivers, while providing crisis intervention and bereavement support when necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The mental health counselor will work primarily with adults, adolescents, and families facing a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and major life transitions. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work or a related field obtained from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The ideal candidate will earn a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Our compensation package includes:
