Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients by reviewing their medical histories, performing assessments, and documenting findings in accordance with healthcare protocols.
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with your patients and their families, ensuring that their goals are achievable and aligned with therapeutic best practices.
• Implement treatment protocols effectively, adjusting as necessary based on ongoing assessments and patient feedback to achieve optimal health outcomes.
• Consult with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care, recognizing when a patient's condition requires additional medical or rehabilitation consultation.
• Manage discharge planning and follow-up care meticulously, maintaining accurate and timely documentation that reflects the patient's journey through care, including ongoing progress and final evaluations.
• Demonstrate efficient time management skills to meet productivity expectations, schedule patient appointments, and participate in departmental meetings and marketing initiatives.
• Contribute to strategic department goals by adhering to industry regulations and actively engaging in quality improvement projects.
• Pursue continuing education opportunities to enhance your professional skills and knowledge, and act as a mentor to students or new staff as needed.
• Promote a positive patient experience through exceptional customer service and responsiveness to patient needs, fostering a welcoming environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The role focuses on treating a diverse patient population seeking rehabilitation for a variety of musculoskeletal, neurological, and post-operative conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required. A Doctorate degree (DPT) is preferred.
• Current and valid physical therapy license in the state of Florida is mandatory.
• American Heart Association's BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR certification is required.
• Commitment to professional development and ongoing education.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in outpatient rehabilitation.
