Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments that are sensitive to cultural nuances, drawing on patients' unique life experiences to inform individualized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapies tailored to each patient’s background and mental health concerns, utilizing approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Cooperate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and healthcare providers to coordinate a holistic treatment experience for patients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support, guiding patients through mental health emergencies with a calm demeanor and effective strategies.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment modalities, and available community resources.

• Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans in compliance with ethical and legal standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Actively participate in team meetings and cultural competency training to ensure ongoing professional development and enhance service delivery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, mental health counseling, or psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in California.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering culturally competent individual and group therapy.

• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment practices.

• Excellent crisis intervention skills and the ability to navigate challenging situations with composure.

• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
