Work Environment

The position is located onsite in our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Fairfax, Virginia. Our facility is equipped with the latest therapeutic tools and technology to support an effective rehab experience. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Viera Physical Therapy, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations and assessments of patients' conditions, developing tailored treatment plans that align with physicians' referrals.
• Implementing therapeutic interventions using a variety of techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training.
• Providing education to patients and their families about treatment objectives and coping strategies, enhancing their understanding of their own health.
• Actively monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment programs as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Demonstrating exceptional customer service, maintaining clear communication with patients regarding their treatment plans and progress.
• Collaborating with other healthcare team members to enhance patient outcomes and contribute to the overall effectiveness of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will have the opportunity to work with diverse patient populations, including those with orthopedic issues, pediatric concerns, neurological conditions, and sports-related injuries. Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) issued by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities, along with proficient computer skills.
• The capacity to build rapport and lasting relationships with patients, enhancing their therapy journey.
• A commitment to demonstrating a positive, proactive approach to patient care.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience is required, familiarity with advanced outpatient treatments, aquatic therapy, or other specialized modalities will be advantageous. Compensation and Benefits
