Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient's unique trauma history, establishing appropriate therapeutic pathways for effective treatment.

• Formulate and execute personalized treatment plans focusing on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and holistic mental health support adapted to each client's needs.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), ensuring that clients receive the most effective interventions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, creating a safe space for patients to process trauma stories, develop healthy coping strategies, and foster healing within a supportive community.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to assure an integrated care approach that maximizes patient well-being and therapeutic outcomes.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support services to address trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and well-being at all times.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources to empower them on their recovery journey.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, documenting client progress and treatment outcomes.

• Participate in ongoing case consultations, team meetings, and professional development initiatives aimed at enhancing trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay current with the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to continually enhance your clinical skills and knowledge base.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working primarily with individuals affected by trauma, including survivors of abuse, those with PTSD, and individuals facing complex trauma scenarios. Our patient population may also include clients experiencing anxiety, depression, and other co-occurring disorders. This position requires a deep understanding of the impact of trauma on mental health, necessitating a compassionate and adaptable approach to therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Arizona.

• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and a variety of trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to providing empathetic and non-judgmental care.

• A calm demeanor and ability to remain composed during high-stress situations, providing effective support to clients in need.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications related to patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
