Work Environment

As an onsite Physical Therapist working at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center, you will have access to advanced therapeutic equipment and resources designed to support effective treatment. The center is designed to foster a healing environment, equipped with open and private treatment spaces, rehabilitation technology, and collaborative work areas. Your work hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, promoting a strong work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

Your role as an Orthopedic Physical Therapist will involve:

• Directing physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disability, alleviating pain, and restoring muscle function in compliance with established care protocols.
• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients' functional abilities using clinical assessments and diagnostic tests that measure muscle, nerve, joint, and overall functional performance.
• Administering a combination of manual therapeutic exercises and instructive sessions, guiding clients through non-manual exercises tailored to their individual needs.
• Applying specialized treatment techniques, including traction and massage, alongside modalities that utilize physical agents to enhance recovery.
• Assessing, fitting, and modifying prosthetic and orthotic devices, collaborating with physicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population, focusing on individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic musculoskeletal ailments. Your expertise in orthopedic assessment and patient engagement will be pivotal in developing customized care plans aimed at achieving functional independence.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates should hold:

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• An active State License as a Physical Therapist, confirming your professional credentials and eligibility to practice.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience within orthopedic, geriatric, acute care, or outpatient settings, showcasing your capability in various patient care situations.
• Strong communication skills, organizational aptitude, and a knack for problem-solving to navigate patient needs effectively.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, ensuring accurate documentation of patient care.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
