Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Physical Therapist at Active Movement Therapy, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments and developing individualized Plan of Care for each patient that is clinically sound and aligns with nationally recognized clinical guidelines.
• Documenting all patient interactions and clinical decisions, including trends and educational opportunities within your practice.
• Providing insights during Peer to Peer Consultations when necessary, discussing cases with fellow therapists to ensure the highest standard of care is met before submission to the Medical Director.
• Reviewing requests for PT services in collaboration with our Coordinator, synthesizing supporting clinical data such as diagnosis, evaluation, and progress notes efficiently.
• Determining medically necessary services and evaluating treatment modalities including length, intensity, and frequency for optimal recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our diverse patient population includes individuals with a range of conditions, including orthopedic issues, neurological disorders, pediatric concerns, and chronic pain syndromes. You will have the opportunity to work closely with both adult and pediatric patients, providing specialized care that caters to their unique needs and recovery goals. We emphasize a patient-centered approach to therapy, ensuring that every interaction fosters trust and engagement.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess the following:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A current and valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A strong foundational knowledge in anatomy and physiology with proven application skills, particularly in trigger point therapy techniques.
• Experience in outpatient and acute care settings, demonstrating the ability to assess and treat a variety of conditions.
• Proficiency in providing care in both clinic and hospital environments, ensuring continuity and quality of service.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following qualifications will be advantageous:

• Experience working with pediatric patients and familiarity with pediatric therapy practices.
• An understanding of hospital medicine practices to enhance patient care coordination.
• A background in providing inpatient care to diversify your clinical skills and practices.

Compensation and Benefits
