Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical capabilities and limitations, providing a detailed analysis of their conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs, ensuring alignment with organizational protocols and standards.
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities and techniques, including manual therapy, exercises, modalities/modalities, and functional training.
• Regularly re-evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal healing and improvement in function.
• Document treatment sessions accurately and maintain compliance with all billing protocols to ensure efficient operation of our outpatient office.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment protocols, injury prevention, and rehabilitation processes to promote understanding and cooperation.
• Participate in regular interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care strategies and share insights that enhance treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with adult and geriatric populations dealing with orthopedic issues, including post-operative recovery, chronic pain syndromes, sports injuries, and degenerative conditions. Your focus will be on improving their mobility, strength, and overall functional capabilities, enabling them to resume their daily activities with confidence.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess the following:

• A Bachelor's Degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A current Physical Therapist license in the State of Florida.
• Current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification.

Preferred Experience

While all qualified applicants are welcomed, experience in orthopedic rehabilitation will be highly advantageous. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and patient management systems is also preferred, as these skills can help streamline operations within our facility.
