Position Overview

Vital Motion Physical Therapy Network is excited to announce an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Clinical Physical Therapist to join our skilled team at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Santa Ana, California. This full-time, onsite position offers a competitive annual salary of USD 120,000 – 130,000. In this role, you will have the opportunity to directly contribute to the physical rehabilitation and overall well-being of our residents through individualized therapy programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of residents to determine their physical capabilities, needs, and goals for rehabilitation.
• Develop, implement, and modify personalized treatment plans focused on enhancing strength, mobility, and overall functional independence.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and other treatment modalities tailored to each resident's specific conditions and progress.
• Monitor residents' progress meticulously, keeping detailed documentation to inform treatment adjustments and engage residents in their rehabilitation journey.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to create comprehensive care plans, ensuring that the therapeutic process aligns with overall health objectives and addresses any co-existing medical issues.
• Educate residents and their families on effective home exercise programs and lifestyle modifications that can enhance physical health and prevent further injuries.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and regulatory guidelines to ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations as well as professional standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with residents in a skilled nursing setting, many of whom are part of the geriatric population or recovering from significant health challenges. Your interventions will address a range of conditions, from post-surgical rehabilitation to chronic pain management and mobility recovery. You will develop strong, trusting relationships with residents and their families, providing not just physical therapy but also emotional support and encouragement.

Qualifications

• A current and valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
• A degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution, with a preference for candidates holding a Master's or Doctorate in the field.
• Strong understanding of rehabilitation principles, techniques, and patient care strategies.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or with geriatric patients is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
• A proactive approach to continuing education and professional development, demonstrating a commitment to staying current in the field.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
