Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' mental health status, treatment progress, and substance use issues, ensuring that the care provided meets the necessary medical and regulatory standards.

• Perform prior authorization reviews for mental health and substance abuse treatment plans, assessing medical appropriateness according to established criteria.

• Engage in concurrent reviews of clients in behavioral health inpatient facilities, focusing on treatment needs and developing effective discharge plans that support ongoing care.

• Analyze behavioral health data to identify trends, enhance service quality, and improve the utilization of mental health resources.
\n
• Provide educational support to clients, their families, and other healthcare providers about mental health processes and treatment options.
\n
• Collaborate with allied healthcare providers to discuss and negotiate appropriate levels of care and interventions for clients.
\n
• Work with medical directors and organizational leaders to analyze care quality and propose initiatives aimed at enhancing care delivery.
\n
• Participate in staff meetings and case presentations, contributing valuable insights and collaboration to multidisciplinary rounds.

• Uphold confidentiality and compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and ethical standards in mental health practice.

• Perform various other duties as assigned that align with the mission and goals of Chrysalis Health Counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client population facing a spectrum of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and substance use issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Counseling, Social Work, Psychology) and appropriate state licensure to practice independently as a mental health counselor.

Preferred Experience\n

• Knowledge of insurance authorization processes and experience managing treatment reviews.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
