This position offers the flexibility of working remotely, providing you the opportunity to balance your career with personal life, while still participating in meaningful interactions with patients. You will spend around 40 hours per week engaged in telemedicine sessions and in-person consultations, adapting your schedule based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose and evaluate the status of patients, utilizing the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders as needed.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that honor the cultural backgrounds and specific needs of your patients, ensuring that all strategies align with evidence-based practices.

• Continuously monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment strategies and interventions to support their mental health diagnoses effectively.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including treatment records and reports, in compliance with department standards and regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate closely with patients, families, and other health care personnel to design treatment plans tailored to desired outcomes and patient-centered goals.
\n
• Coordinate with referral sources and community resources, ensuring a smooth transition for patients between various care providers and settings.

• Provide training, mentoring, and support for interns, students, and other team members interested in advancing their clinical skills.
\n
• Engage in clinical collaboration and peer review as directed by your clinical supervisor, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals and families affected by cancer. You will address the unique psychological and emotional challenges associated with a cancer diagnosis, such as anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders. This requires a nuanced understanding of the complexities involved in cancer care, as well as the ability to communicate compassionately and effectively with patients facing significant health challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid LCSW license in California.
\n
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience, preferably in an outpatient or mental health setting.

• Physical capability to perform job duties, including lifting up to twenty-five pounds and engaging in routine physical activities.

• Open to working in a team-based environment, demonstrating collaboration and respect for diverse ideas and contributions.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with trauma-informed care, particularly in relation to chronic illness and oncology.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and telehealth platforms.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $105,000 per year, complemented by a robust benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, and a 401k plan with company matching.
