Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients experiencing mood disorders to ascertain the severity, frequency, and duration of their symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans, ensuring alignment with their unique needs, goals, and preferences.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to client circumstances.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies, fostering a supportive therapeutic relationship.

• Monitor client progress continuously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on feedback and ongoing assessments.

• Maintain confidentiality and comply with legal and ethical standards in documenting client sessions, assessments, and treatment plans.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

• Expertise in evidence-based treatment approaches, particularly focusing on mood disorders, such as CBT and DBT.

• An in-depth understanding of psychopharmacology and effective collaboration with psychiatrists and healthcare teams.

• A proven history of successful outcomes in treating mood disorders in diverse populations.

• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to connect with clients from varying backgrounds empathetically.
