Work Environment\n

This role is available in a remote setting, ensuring flexibility while maintaining high standards of patient care. You will primarily engage with clients during standard business hours, Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional evening sessions anticipated based on client needs. This structure allows for a supportive work-life balance in the demanding field of counseling.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess clients’ mental health status and substance use challenges, effectively identifying co-occurring disorders that impact their treatment journey.

• Collaborate closely with clients to design individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that integrate mental health care with substance use strategies, ensuring a holistic approach to wellness.
\n
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, developing clients' coping skills, emotional regulation techniques, and relapse prevention strategies tailored to their unique circumstances.
\n
• Coordinate with psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide a comprehensive treatment experience that addresses a wide range of patient needs.

• Utilize motivational interviewing and substance use monitoring to engage clients in their recovery process and encourage adherence to treatment recommendations.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on the complexities of mental health and substance use disorders, reinforcing the significance of adherence to their treatment protocols.
\n
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of treatment progress in accordance with legal and ethical standards to ensure continuity of care.
\n
• Participate actively in case conferences, staff meetings, and continuous training sessions aimed at enhancing your knowledge of co-occurring disorder treatment methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals struggling with both mental health and substance use disorders, as well as their families. Your role will be pivotal in guiding them through complex challenges on their path to recovery. You will be working with a diverse range of clients who may encounter various emotional, social, and psychological barriers.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.
\n
• Demonstrable proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic interventions applicable to co-occurring disorders, such as Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
\n
• In-depth understanding of the integration of mental health and substance use treatment approaches.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, enabling effective communication with clients and colleagues across various disciplines.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in outpatient settings, particularly focused on integrated care models.
\n
• Prior work within a multidisciplinary team approach, especially with multidisciplinary programs addressing dual diagnoses.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems for documentation and case management.
\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive annual salary range of $75,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience, alongside a generous sign-on bonus. Additional benefits include:
