FlexFit Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our skilled team in San Diego, California. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at FlexFit, you will be responsible for a wide range of clinical tasks, including:

• Conducting comprehensive consultations with patients to assess their physical status, identifying specific conditions and symptoms that require intervention.
• Diagnosing movement dysfunctions through thorough evaluations and clinical assessments, establishing clear and achievable treatment plans based on individual needs.
• Educating patients on therapeutic exercise techniques, ensuring they understand the purpose and proper methods to perform these exercises effectively.
• Employing manual therapy techniques, such as stimulation or massage, to facilitate healing and alleviate discomfort.
• Assisting patients with mobility devices, including wheelchairs and walkers, to enhance their independent movement and overall confidence.
• Maintaining accurate patient records that track progress, outcomes, and modifications to treatment plans, ensuring high standards of care and documentation.
• Coaching patients and their families on in-home care options and exercises, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our diverse patient demographic ranges from children to older adults, each presenting unique rehabilitation challenges. We cater to individuals with various diagnoses, including post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, chronic pain, neurological conditions, and orthopedic issues. Qualifications

To thrive in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution, demonstrating a solid academic foundation in physical therapy practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to ensure clear interaction with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including word processing, for maintaining patient records and managing documentation effectively.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in California, affirming your professional capabilities.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work effectively in varying clinical scenarios, accommodating the evolving needs of our patients.

Preferred Experience

While prior experience is valuable, we are particularly interested in candidates who exhibit a proactive attitude towards learning and growth. Two years of practical experience in a therapy setting is preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits
