Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disability, alleviating pain, and restoring optimal muscle function.
• Supervise and guide physical therapy assistants to ensure the accurate execution of therapy interventions.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients' physical capabilities using specialized tests to design effective rehabilitation strategies.
• Assess the home environment to facilitate a safe and effective rehabilitation process, suggesting modifications that can enhance patient independence.
• Deliver in-home physical therapy services as prescribed by physicians, including manual therapies, therapeutic exercises, and the use of physical agents.
• Fit and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices, ensuring their proper function and making recommendations to healthcare providers as needed.
• Participate in care team meetings, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient care planning and outcome assessments.
• Monitor and document patient progress and response to therapy, providing timely reports and updates to families and healthcare teams.
• Maintain clinical records, including initial evaluations and ongoing progress notes, ensuring compliance with state regulations and company policies.
• Offer education and support to clients and their families regarding therapy programs and physical therapy equipment.
• Stay accessible to physical therapy assistants, providing guidance and support during treatment sessions as necessary.
• Complete other duties as assigned to meet the goals set forth for our rehabilitation team.

Qualifications

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The Physical Therapist position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
