Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to accurately assess patients' physical conditions and functional capabilities, using standardized assessment tools.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that are carefully constructed based on each patient's individual needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Utilize a variety of hands-on techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation to alleviate pain, enhance mobility, and restore functionality.
• Educate patients on effective body mechanics, posture, and prevention techniques to optimize their rehabilitation outcomes and minimize future injuries.
• Monitor patients' progress throughout their treatment journey, making timely adjustments to care plans to enhance results and address any challenges.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians and occupational therapists, to provide holistic care and facilitate comprehensive patient management.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment interventions, and progress notes meticulously, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards in healthcare records.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a diverse group of patients, including those recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain conditions, and various neuromuscular disorders. By tailoring treatment plans to the specific conditions of individuals suffering from back and neck pain, osteoarthritis, tendonitis, and balance impairments, you will provide crucial support in their recovery processes.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Possession of current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in California.
• Board certification by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) is mandatory.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience is essential, although extensive experience will be valued.
