Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home while still being an essential part of our community health clinic. You will engage with colleagues through virtual meetings and collaborate on treatment strategies. Our organization values work-life balance, and your schedule will typically follow a standard Monday to Friday format, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility to accommodate client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to understand their mental health needs and develop evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions that address a variety of emotional challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and coping strategies for life transitions.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team that includes physicians, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure a cohesive treatment plan.

• Maintain accurate client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, documenting progress and treatment plans to facilitate ongoing care.

• Engage with community resources and represent Discovery Mood Clinical Services at various outreach events to enhance community partnerships and client engagement.

As a counselor, you will have the opportunity to work with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults seeking support for both short- and long-term therapeutic goals. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.

• Current, valid independent licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Pennsylvania.

• A minimum of two years of direct clinical experience in a mental health setting, providing therapy services to diverse clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or person-centered approaches.

• Experience working remotely with online therapy systems and electronic medical records.

Compensation and Benefits\n
