As a full-time therapist working remotely, you will play a vital role in providing specialized mental health care focused on trauma recovery and resilience-building. Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility and convenience in meeting the needs of both patients and therapists. The scheduled work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the potential for some scheduling flexibility to accommodate patient demands. As part of a collaborative online team, you will engage in regular virtual meetings and consultations to facilitate cohesive patient care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and determine the most effective treatment strategies.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at fostering trauma recovery and building resilience in each individual.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for patients to process their trauma and develop essential coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and fellow mental health professionals to ensure integrated care approaches and optimal patient outcomes.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support for patients facing trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families regarding trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available community resources.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation that adheres to legal and ethical requirements.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities focused on trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed and updated on the latest research findings and treatment methodologies related to trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with individuals affected by various forms of trauma, including PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your compassionate, non-judgmental approach will establish trusting relationships that empower clients on their healing journeys. The diverse backgrounds of our clients require the therapist to be adaptable and culturally sensitive, providing tailored support that acknowledges individual experiences and contexts.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington is required.

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a relevant mental health setting.

• Demonstrated expertise in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on empathy and understanding.

• Ability to remain calm and collected in high-pressure environments, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other digital tools critical for telehealth service delivery.

• Strong ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The competitive salary for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 104,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
