Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to understand patients’ backgrounds and create tailored treatment plans.

• Design and implement targeted intervention strategies to aid patients in their trauma recovery, focusing on evidence-based therapies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that empower patients to process traumatic experiences, cultivate coping strategies, and foster resilience.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to create a holistic and integrated approach to care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring they receive the necessary support promptly.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma response and effective coping mechanisms, enhancing understanding and creating supportive environments for healing.

• Maintain meticulous documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to track patient progress and treatment efficacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a mental health therapist at Ultimate Support Counseling Center, you will primarily work with individuals recovering from a range of trauma-related conditions. Our client base features adults and adolescents facing various challenges related to PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. The focus is on facilitating healing and resilience, utilizing a compassionate approach tailored to each patient's unique experiences and needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW within the state of Washington.

• Strong expertise in trauma-informed practices, including a deep understanding of trauma-related disorders and effective treatment modalities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, reflecting a compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.

• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) to ensure accurate and timely documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
