Description

• Assess patients in inpatient or outpatient environments and develop personalized treatment plans to suit their needs
• Implement physical therapy techniques that focus on enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and functional capabilities
• Work in tandem with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding therapeutic objectives, discharge plans, and at-home exercises
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in compliance with facility standards and regulations
• Engage in interprofessional rounds and team meetings to ensure seamless and coordinated care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a comparable degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Additional certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are advantageous but not mandatory

• Prior experience is strongly preferred
