Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Therapist at Vatica Counseling Center, your daily responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting thorough psychosocial assessments to identify client needs and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Diagnosing and treating a diverse array of mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders, regularly modifying care plans based on client progress and feedback.

• Establishing collaborative relationships with clients, families, and a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide effective and holistic patient care.

• Coordinating referrals to community resources, support groups, or specialized treatment options to enhance patient well-being.

• Educating and empowering clients through crisis management strategies and supportive interventions, ensuring that they have access to the necessary tools for recovery.

• Staying abreast of federal, state, and clinical guidelines to comply with the standards set forth by the Mental Health Practice Act.

• Leading discharge planning efforts, ensuring that clients receive continuous care and resources post-therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families, each presenting a range of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work or a closely related field from an accredited institution, with verification of degree required.

• Current licensure as a mental health professional, including options such as LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or LPC/MHSP.
