Work Environment

You will be working onsite in our outpatient office, where a collaborative and supportive team environment thrives. Key Responsibilities

• Effectively manage the complete therapeutic care process for a designated group of patients, ensuring high standards of patient-centered care in line with physician recommendations.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, engaging with patients to develop and implement individualized care plans that prioritize goal achievement and positive experiences.
• Deliver and supervise therapeutic interventions, adapting care strategies based on ongoing evaluations of patient progress and needs.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and techniques to perform comprehensive evaluations related to therapeutic, rehabilitative, and functional status.
• Guide patients and their families in understanding treatment protocols, exercises, and the proper use of therapeutic equipment and prosthetics.
• Assess and prioritize your caseload effectively, coordinating daily needs and assignment hand-offs with other healthcare professionals to facilitate continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population spans across diverse age groups, focusing on both adults and children. You will engage with patients recovering from various conditions such as orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain syndromes. Our approach emphasizes holistic care that not only addresses physical rehabilitation but also encompasses emotional support, understanding the psychological aspects of recovery.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is required.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• We welcome new graduates as well as experienced therapists; no prior experience is required.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is a plus but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth practices is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with patients, caregivers, and team members.

Compensation and Benefits

Flex Well Therapeutics provides a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
