Work Environment

Your practice will be located onsite, allowing for seamless interaction with a collaborative team of healthcare professionals. The center includes two skilled physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant, all dedicated to delivering high-quality care and working together to create a supportive and engaging atmosphere for patients. The work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, providing a structured yet fulfilling work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to determine their needs and establish effective treatment plans tailored to individual circumstances.
• Manage a consistent patient load, typically one patient per hour, ensuring each individual receives dedicated and focused care.
• Utilize a variety of treatment techniques and methodologies, including manual therapy and exercise regimens, to address specific patient requirements.
• Implement and adjust care plans as necessary to optimize treatment effectiveness, with an emphasis on achieving measurable patient outcomes.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of patient interactions, treatment sessions, and progression in accordance with state regulations and facility policies.
• Communicate openly with patients about their progress, motivate them throughout their treatment journeys, and promote a proactive approach to physical health.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care and management.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary patient demographic at our center includes individuals with orthopedic injuries, post-operative rehabilitation needs, and various musculoskeletal disorders who primarily hold private medical insurance. Our focus on individualized care allows us to meet the unique recovery goals of each patient, enhancing their daily function and quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this role.
• Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California, with a clean professional record.
• Strong foundational knowledge in manual therapy techniques and the ability to implement them effectively.
• Proficiency in creating tailored exercise programs to address patient-specific challenges.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) software platforms, such as WebPT, to maintain accurate and timely documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• A demonstrated ability to foster patient relationships and encourage active participation in the recovery process.
• Experience in implementing evidence-based treatment methodologies to support patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
