Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive assessments with clients to identify their needs, goals, and treatment preferences.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that address each client's unique circumstances, including therapeutic modalities suited to their demographic needs.

• Facilitate outpatient therapy sessions using telehealth technology, employing effective virtual engagement techniques and therapeutic tools.

• Educate clients on essential life skills, coping strategies, and resilience-building approaches to promote lasting change.

• Develop crisis intervention and management strategies to assist clients facing mental health emergencies and create safety plans for high-risk cases.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and outcome assessments in accordance with state regulations and organizational policies.

• Participate in regular team meetings aimed at enhancing service delivery and sharing best practices while staying current on emerging trends in the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a related mental health field is required.

• Current and active licensure in Virginia as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPC is mandatory.
