Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your daily responsibilities will encompass a variety of clinical tasks aimed at enhancing client care and supporting community mental health initiatives. Specific duties include:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, addressing pre-crisis and crisis management through behavioral guidelines, risk assessments, and medication plans.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring that all records meet the necessary requirements for quality care delivery.

• Employ evidence-based screening tools and practices as guided by the clinical team to monitor client progress and outcomes effectively.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to formulate and implement positive behavior support plans tailored to each client's unique needs.

• Actively participate in licensing and accreditation processes to uphold the highest standards of practice within the organization.

• Serve as a liaison with relevant service systems, state agencies, and community partners, fostering effective communication and coordination of care.

• Establish and nurture relationships with local, state, and private agencies to promote our programs and identify potential new partnerships and funding sources.

• Undertake additional duties assigned by the Clinic Director, ensuring responsive support to the team and organization.

In this role, you will primarily serve a diverse clientele, including individuals struggling with emotional health challenges, substance use issues, and those living with developmental disabilities or brain injuries. Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following minimum qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in the mental health field from an accredited institution.

• Possession of an Independent LMHC License valid in Massachusetts or a willingness for licensure within the state, with assistance provided for those licensed in other jurisdictions.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in community mental health settings, crisis intervention, or evidence-based therapeutic modalities will be highly regarded. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and documentation standards is also advantageous.
