Work Environment\n

This remote role allows for flexibility while maintaining an outpatient structure, enabling counselors to deliver therapy in a way that fosters connection and empathy. Our work hours primarily span Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional rotating weekend and evening shifts to meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and individualized assessments to evaluate the severity, duration, and impact of mood disorder symptoms in clients, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their unique situations.

• Collaborate closely with clients to develop and implement tailored treatment plans that address their goals and individual needs, employing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Monitor client progress rigorously throughout the therapeutic process, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans and strategies in real-time as needed.

• Educate clients and family members on mood disorders, treatment modalities, and self-care strategies to foster empowerment and understanding.

• Engage in collaborative practices with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to create a holistic approach to client care that integrates medication and psychotherapy effectively.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation for all sessions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities to continually enhance your therapeutic skills and knowledge base.

• Advocate for mental health awareness and the destigmatization of mood disorders within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clinic serves a wide range of clients, primarily focusing on individuals grappling with mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related issues. You will be instrumental in providing support to these individuals, helping them navigate their challenges and achieve improved mental wellness through personalized therapy and evidence-based interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT within the state of Washington.

• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• A strong understanding of psychopharmacological treatments and their implications for psychotherapy.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience, specifically working with mood disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, supplemented by an attractive sign-on bonus.
