Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your everyday responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough psychosocial assessments to understand clients' needs and create personalized treatment plans.

• Diagnosing and treating a wide range of mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders while adapting care plans as necessary to meet changing client circumstances.

• Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, including healthcare providers and community resources, to coordinate comprehensive discharge plans that ensure continuity of care.

• Providing referrals to supplementary services such as community programs, support groups, and other mental health professionals to broaden care options for clients.

• Executing family and individual therapy sessions that aim to empower clients and involve family members in the therapeutic process as required.

• Complying with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations while aligning with the guidelines of the Mental Health Practice Act.

• Documenting services and treatment interventions effectively, ensuring adherence to quality and privacy standards.

• Advocating for the needs of patients and families, facilitating effective communication amongst care teams and external agencies.

• Identifying patients at risk for readmission or delays in care and proactively coordinating with providers to mitigate these issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse clientele, ranging from individuals dealing with anxiety and depression to those facing chronic mental health issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Social Work or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or as a Psychologist in the state of Georgia.

Compensation and Benefits\n
