Fine Spine Physical Therapy & Wellness is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Ashburn, Virginia. This full-time onsite role offers the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility, where you will address the diverse needs of our patients. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized physical therapy plans aimed at preventing disability, relieving pain, and restoring muscle function according to each patient's unique needs.
• Evaluate patients' functional abilities through diagnostic testing and ongoing assessments to tailor treatment strategies effectively.
• Collaborate with physical therapy assistants, guiding them to ensure adherence to care plans while assisting them in delivering patient care.
• Conduct home evaluations to recommend modifications that increase patient independence and functionality.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, traction, and manual therapy techniques, providing education and support for patients' home exercise regimens.
• Document patient progress and responses to therapy, preparing clinical records including evaluations, care plans, and discharge summaries for patient files.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings to share insights and recommendations beneficial to the overall treatment process.
• Engage in continuous communication with patients and their families, educating them on physical therapy devices and overall wellness strategies.
• Supervise physical therapy assistants in accordance with state regulations and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and organization policies.
• Contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives and clinical research projects to enhance service delivery and patient care within our facility.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a diverse patient population ranging from post-operative individuals seeking rehabilitation to those with chronic pain conditions. You will develop strong relationships with patients and their families, working to achieve their rehabilitation goals and improve their quality of life through motivational support and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program.
• Holds a current, valid physical therapist license in Virginia (or applicable state) in good standing.
• A minimum of one year of relevant experience in an acute care or home care setting is required.
• Current CPR certification.
• A strong commitment to clinical excellence, compassion, and integrity in patient care delivery.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with patients and multidisciplinary team members.
• Familiarity with rehabilitation best practices and federal/state regulations relevant to physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient rehabilitation facility is preferred.
• Background in working with various patient demographics, including geriatric and postoperative patients.
• Experience in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain patient documentation accurately.
