Work Environment\n

This position is unique as it offers a remote work setting while allowing interaction with clients in an outpatient context. Working from home, you will utilize telehealth technologies to conduct virtual therapy sessions, ensuring convenience and accessibility for your clients. Despite the remote nature of the role, you will remain an integral part of our team, participating in regular meetings and consultations with colleagues to share insights, discuss strategies, and stay updated on best practices in mental health care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of patients’ mental health status to create comprehensive therapeutic plans.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans collaboratively with clients, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

• Hold regular therapy sessions—both individual and group—equipping clients with coping strategies and tools to overcome their challenges.
\n
• Maintain detailed and accurate client records within our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and organizational standards.

• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and specialized therapists, as necessary to enhance client care.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during emergency situations while remaining calm under pressure, demonstrating strong crisis management skills.

• Engage in continuous professional development activities and supervision sessions to enhance therapy techniques and improve client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our diverse client population includes individuals facing various challenges, including mental health disorders such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, and substance use disorders. You will work closely with young adults, families, and other demographic groups, adapting your therapeutic approaches to be culturally sensitive and responsive to the unique backgrounds and experiences of your clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Possess a current and valid license (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) in the state of California.
\n
• At least two years of experience providing mental health counseling to diverse populations.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and clinical practices, including a strong foundation in evidence-based therapy approaches.

• Excellent communication skills, with an ability to build rapport with clients and collaboratively foster a safe therapy environment.

• Proficiency in EHR systems and ability to adapt to various technological tools for clinical documentation and patient interaction.

Compensation and Benefits\n
