Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations through initial interviews and assessments, meticulously documenting cases from start to finish.

• Develop, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic techniques to support clients in coping with their mental health challenges.

• Continuously evaluate clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.

• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical professionals, ensuring comprehensive care for clients.

• Provide follow-up and psychoeducation to family members and caregivers to assist in managing mental health challenges at home.

• Identify behaviors that may hinder recovery, proactively addressing these issues to promote positive outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a mental health counselor at Prime Stable Psychotherapy Center, you will work primarily with a diverse group of clients facing various mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress-related disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW) in the state of Illinois.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for building rapport with clients.

• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor, essential for effective therapy.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of experience as a mental health counselor, with a proven track record in providing counseling services across diverse populations.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems such as AVATAR, ensuring thorough documentation and efficient case management.

• Experience in addressing both mental health disorders and co-occurring substance use issues or physical health conditions.

• Familiarity with best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• In-depth understanding of pharmacological interventions and their effects on mental health.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, complemented by a sign-on bonus.
