Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to evaluate the mental health needs of clients, utilizing standardized tools and best practices to inform treatment plans.

• Provide individual therapy sessions, facilitating crisis intervention for clients encountering acute mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.

• Organize and lead therapy groups focused on relevant topics such as coping strategies, emotional regulation, and life skills enhancement.

• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and social workers, to develop and implement holistic treatment plans that address both physical and mental health.

• Participate in outreach initiatives aimed at increasing mental health awareness, including community workshops, wellness events, and informational sessions.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of client interactions in accordance with HIPAA guidelines, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards within mental health practice.

Qualifications\n

• Fully licensed in the State of California as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist.
