Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate patients' psychological needs and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to deliver effective sessions to individuals, couples, and families.

• Lead psychoeducational groups to educate clients on mental health concerns and foster a sense of community among participants.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, ensuring timely and compassionate support to clients in distress.

• Maintain up-to-date and confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently.

• Engage actively in team meetings, case consultations, and continuing education opportunities to stay informed about the latest developments in mental health therapy.

• Support clients in understanding their diagnosis, treatment options, and available community resources, fostering an informed and engaged patient base.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will serve a diverse range of clients from various backgrounds who are seeking support for mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Kansas.

• Strong foundational knowledge of mental health disorders and familiarity with contemporary therapeutic practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n
