Work Environment

This position is onsite at our Richmond facility, where you will work from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Our outpatient physical therapy setting is designed to ensure that you can dedicate ample time to each patient, fostering an atmosphere of support, learning, and healing. Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized assessments and treatment plans tailored to the unique needs and goals of each patient.
• Maintain a manageable caseload, ensuring you can devote attention to developing a strong therapeutic relationship with each patient.
• Employ advanced orthopedic outpatient care techniques, drawing from extensive clinical experience to guide your treatment interventions.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and innovative, cost-effective rehabilitation techniques to maximize patients' functionality and independence.
• Develop and adapt fitness and wellness programs that align with each patient's specific recovery needs.
• Implement and teach evidence-based interventions, continuously monitoring and adjusting them according to patient progress and feedback.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
• Provide motivational support to patients, encouraging them to remain committed to their rehabilitation journey and lifestyle changes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatment interventions and progress notes in accordance with clinic policies and regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role as a Physical Therapist will primarily involve working with a diverse patient population, ranging from athletes recovering from injuries to individuals seeking rehabilitation for chronic pain conditions. Each patient presents unique challenges and opportunities for improvement, allowing you to leverage your clinical skills and develop effective treatment strategies that support their journey towards optimal health.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent education, with preference for candidates holding a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• An active Physical Therapist license valid in the state of Virginia with no disciplinary actions or sanctions.
• Proven experience in manual therapy techniques and the ability to develop effective exercise programs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, to ensure precise documentation.
• Strong understanding of contemporary physical therapy practices supported by clinical evidence and research.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in an outpatient setting, particularly in sports medicine or orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team approach to patient care.
• Expertise in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that lead to successful rehabilitation outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
