Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical limitations, including reviewing medical histories and determining relevant assessments.
• Clearly communicate evaluation findings and collaborate with patients and their families to establish actionable treatment goals, addressing individual needs and expectations.
• Skillfully implement evidence-based treatment protocols, adapting plans based on real-time patient feedback and progress in a continuously evolving healthcare landscape.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration by consulting with other healthcare professionals, monitoring changes in patients' conditions, and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient care activities, including evaluations, treatment notes, and discharge planning documentation to maintain clear, comprehensive records.
• Manage your schedule effectively to meet productivity expectations while participating in community outreach programs to promote our services.
• Contribute to departmental goals and objectives, staying compliant with governmental and accreditation standards.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and continuing education opportunities, ensuring that your skills and knowledge remain at the forefront of the industry.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily engage with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, those with chronic pain conditions, athletes undergoing rehabilitation, and patients seeking preventive care. This role emphasizes the importance of patient-centered care, ensuring each treatment plan is tailored to the unique circumstances and aspirations of those we serve.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid physical therapist license as required by state regulations.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by the American Heart Association.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to foster teamwork and collaboration within the care team.

Preferred Experience

• While prior work experience in a clinical setting is not required, any experience with outpatient care or orthopedic rehabilitation will be beneficial.
• Exposure to systems for managing patient documentation and scheduling is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
