The Spine and Joint Rehab Center is seeking a passionate and skilled Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team in Richmond, Virginia. Work Environment

This position is located onsite in our outpatient office in Richmond, VA. The facility fosters a collaborative and engaging atmosphere where you will work alongside two fellow physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). We value teamwork and open communication, ensuring that our staff feel supported while delivering outstanding patient care. Your work schedule will be Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a predictable work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patients' goals and clinical needs, creating targeted intervention plans tailored to each individual.
• Manage a caseload effectively, seeing one patient per hour, ensuring focused and quality care during each session.
• Employ advanced therapeutic techniques that enhance patients' range of motion, strength, and overall mobility.
• Implement cost-effective treatment regimens that aim to reduce dependency on medications and avoid unnecessary surgical interventions.
• Design personalized fitness and wellness programs that motivate patients to adopt healthy habits while addressing their specific rehabilitation needs.
• Utilize effective manual therapy techniques to aid in reducing pain and improving functional outcomes for patients.
• Monitor and evaluate treatment progress, maintaining accurate and thorough documentation within our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, especially WebPT.
• Consult and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care, addressing all aspects of patient health.
• Inspire and motivate patients throughout their therapeutic journey, supporting them to achieve their personal health and wellness goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily serves individuals in need of orthopedic rehabilitation, focusing on those recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, post-operative care, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• Successfully completed a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Possess a valid Virginia license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Maintain an unblemished professional history with no past disciplinary actions against your license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and strong capabilities in creating and implementing therapeutic exercise protocols.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, to streamline patient documentation and care coordination.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable, enhancing your ability to understand and address the unique needs of our patient population.
• Ability to integrate innovative therapies and treatment methods will be appreciated as we strive for the highest quality outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

The Spine and Joint Rehab Center offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
