Work Environment

This position requires you to work onsite at our outpatient clinic, where you will collaborate with a dynamic group of healthcare professionals. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, with shifts either from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to create individualized rehabilitation plans that align with their specific goals.
• Maintain a manageable caseload to ensure high-quality, personalized attention for each patient.
• Employ advanced orthopedic outpatient care techniques, drawing from previous experience to foster effective recovery strategies.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to implement cost-efficient treatments that enhance patients' mobility.
• Advocate for non-surgical interventions whenever possible, minimizing the need for medications.
• Develop comprehensive care plans incorporating diverse treatment modalities and patient-tailored fitness programs.
• Continuously motivate and support patients throughout their rehabilitation journey with encouragement and positive reinforcement.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to monitor and assess treatment effectiveness, adjusting care strategies as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Electronic Medical Records (EMR), particularly with WebPT, to ensure meticulous patient care.
• Educate patients about injury prevention and healthy lifestyle choices, focusing on strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Beyond Therapy Center, you will primarily work with outpatient clients recovering from various orthopedic injuries, sports-related traumas, and post-surgical rehabilitation. Your expertise will guide diverse patient groups—from youthful athletes to older adults—ensuring each individual receives tailored physical therapy aimed at restoring health and functionality.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required, with a preference for candidates holding a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• Possession of an active and unimpaired Physical Therapist license in Virginia, free of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Exceptional knowledge of manual therapy techniques and their implementation in rehabilitation scenarios.
• Demonstrated success in creating and executing effective exercise regimens tailored to patient needs.
• Proficiency with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, to capture detailed patient documentation accurately.
• Ongoing familiarity with the latest physical therapy practices and research-supported techniques.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient clinic setting focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation is highly desirable.
• A proven track record of effectively managing patient care while adhering to best practices in physical therapy.
• Familiarity with sports rehabilitation techniques, particularly related to performance enhancement and injury prevention.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
