Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate clients' needs, strengths, and challenges, leading to the creation of tailored treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, and family units. You will employ modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups focused on various mental health issues, encouraging peer support and community integration.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide a holistic approach to client care, including sharing crucial insights during team meetings.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention to clients experiencing acute mental health issues, ensuring their safety and guiding them to further resources.

• Educate clients on managing mental health conditions and connect them to community resources for additional support.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Georgia is essential for this position.

• A sound understanding of mental health disorders, therapeutic methods, and client-centered approaches.

• Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive mental health evaluations and devise effective treatment strategies.

• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to connect with clients from various demographics.
