The position is predominantly onsite at our well-equipped rehabilitation facility in Dulles, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to state practice acts and comply with regulations governing physical therapy practice, ensuring the highest standards of care.
• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients with functional limitations and disabilities, leading to the development of individualized treatment plans.
• Implement treatment protocols rooted in patient-specific evaluations, ensuring that protocols are adjusted based on clinical findings and evolving healthcare standards.
• Document patient progress meticulously, including initial assessments, treatment plans, daily progress notes, and discharge evaluations, to maintain clarity in the course of care.
• Engage with multidisciplinary teams to consult on complex patient needs and make necessary adjustments to treatment based on changes in patient conditions.
• Facilitate timely discharge planning and follow-up care to ensure continuity of treatment and optimal recovery for all patients.
• Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions to remain compliant with corporate and clinical service requirements.
• Work closely with peers to remove barriers to patient access, leveraging CSI measurement data to improve service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients seeking orthopedic rehabilitation services. Your expertise will help individuals recovering from surgery, injury, or managing chronic conditions regain mobility and function. Our patient demographic is diverse, ranging from young athletes to older adults, and requires a tailored approach that respects each individual's unique needs.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) issued by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• Minimum of two years of experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy, demonstrating a strong background in patient care.
• Current CPR certification to ensure the safety of all patients.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with advanced training in specific therapeutic modalities or prior experience working in fast-paced outpatient settings will be given preference. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems or additional certifications related to physical therapy specialties will enhance your candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package which includes:
